Kalgoorlie-Boulder is Australia's largest outback city, located in the eastern Goldfields, 596 km northeast of Perth. With a population of over 33,000 people, and an area of 95,576 km², the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is a dynamic and sophisticated regional centre. 

Kalgoorlie-Boulder’s traditional economic base has been and will continue to be mining. The strength and diversity of the mining industry has sustained our local economy, even through economic downturn. However, the City is ensuring that this is diversified across a number of sectors, including:
