About the program

The Community Grant Program (CGP) allows not-for-profit community groups or outstanding individuals to receive funding for specific events and projects which meet the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder's community development principles. Grants are available in various dollar amounts or other forms of support.

The CGP is available in three categories:

  • Community group grants up to $10,000 to be approved by CEO
  • Community group grants more than $10,000 to be approved by Council
  • Outstanding individual grants up to $1,000
  • Application to Waive Hire Fees up to $2,000

It is recommended that applicants seek alternative funding options as success is not guarenteed.  Applications with multiple funding sources will be considered favourably.
