What does your local ranger do?
Rangers are local government officers responsible for the enforcement of certain Acts of Parliament and Local Laws within the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. These cover issues such as:
Rangers provide these services during their specific hours, as well as for emergencies after hours.
Emergency matters include:
- Dog attack in progress;
- Injured animals in a public place; and
- Emergency services requests for assistance.

Please note: Wandering dogs, whether at large or held, are not considered emergencies, and will not be attended after hours.

Ranger Services are located at the Animal Management Facility on Throssell Street, adjacent to the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder’s Works Depot.
