Youth Council charter

Read the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder's Youth Council Charter, which guides the representative body for the young people of the City.


The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Youth Council was chartered to:

  • Act as a body through which the youth can raise matters for consideration and make recommendations to the Council
  • Open a channel of communication between the youth of the City and the Council
  • Consider items referred by the Council on matters relating to problems, activities and associated subjects of concern to youth
  • Report to the Council on the progress of its activities and the results of its considerations
  • Provide advice to the Minister for Youth and the Office of Youth Affairs through the City
  • Encourage participation in civic affairs by the youth of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
