COMMUNITY OPENING

Come down and see for yourself the redevopment of the Lord Forrest Olympic Pool site. 

With historical tours of the precinct, live entertainment, and much more!
Everyone is welcome at the official opening of our newest community open space.

Discover the fantastic stories and images from the history of the Lord Forrest Pool that are incorporated into the facility,or join the City's Heritage Services team for a guided tour. There will also be live music by Eleven13 Records, and youth activities and a Skateboarding WA workshop in Kingsbury Park to give people a sense of how the two spaces complement each other.

R U OK? Conversation Convoy

The R U OK? Conversation Convoy is headed to Kalgoorlie-Boulder, arriving in Kingsbury Park from 12pm until 1:30pm on Tuesday 15 August. 

 The event, which is open to the whole community, will build on the question “are you ok?” by reinforcing the four steps to a conversation, empowering Australians to ask, listen, encourage action and check in.

Come down for a BBQ and join in on the fun with Goldfields Oasis, YMCA, Headspace and more.

Youth Activities

The fun continues at Kingsbury Park from 4pm with Skateboarding WA!

Skateboarding clinics: 4pm to 6pm
Jam Sesh and Game of Skate: 6pm-7pm

These sessions are free and skateboards and helmets will be provided.
