Kalgoorlie-Boulder residents have two weeks left to see the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Art Prize Exhibition, on show now at the Kalgoorlie Town Hall.
The exhibition, which is free to view, is on show until Sunday, 25 September and features local and national entries. The community has until the exhibition closes to vote for their favourite entry in the KCGM People’s Choice Award.
The KCGM People’s Choice Award is chosen by the public over the course of the exhibition, and will be announced on Tuesday 27 September.
City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder CEO John Walker encouraged all residents and visitors to Kalgoorlie-Boulder over the Race Round to visit the exhibition.
“There is such an impressive range of artwork on display this year, in a wide range of mediums,” he said.
“The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is proud to be able to provide residents with the opportunity to view such an exciting and well put together exhibition, with artists from across Australia taking the time to enter and send their works all the way to Kalgoorlie-Boulder for our exhibition,” he said.
“Our local curator, Monika Dvorak, with City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder staff and volunteers, has done an excellent job in ensuring that this exhibition has been of an extremely high standard.”
The 2016 Art Prize Exhibition is open to the public from the 3 to 25 September at the Kalgoorlie Town Hall. The exhibition is open from 10am until 3pm Tuesday to Thursday, and on weekends. Entry to the exhibition is free.
