The annual Sunset at the Soundshell Concert Series will Kick off at Centennial Park on Saturday 28 January with an INXS tribute band.
The Sunset at the Soundshell concerts are Heaven Sent, giving residents a chilled out social event, where they can come and sing along to all of their favourite INXS hits.
City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Acting CEO Edward Fraser encouraged residents to go along to the Soundshell for the first concert on Saturday 28 January.
“Just Keep Walking to Centennial Park, find a spot under a Shining Star and enjoy The Strangest Party at Sunset at the Soundshell,” he said.
“Tribute bands are not a new concept for the concerts, but we have never had an INXS tribute band before, so it will definitely be a New Sensation.”
The INXS Tribute Show will be supported by local performers Joshua David and Strange Brew. The concert starts at 6:30pm and is a smoke free event.
People are encouraged to bring picnics, rugs and low chairs. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Food and drinks will be available to purchase from local community groups.
