The annual Seniors Christmas Lunch is on again, with the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder hosting the event at the Graduates Hall on MacDonald Street from 12noon until 3pm on Wednesday 7 December 2016.

The Seniors Christmas Lunch, which is a free event for those over the age of 60, includes a traditional three course Christmas lunch, light refreshments and lots of local entertainment, headed by local “Kalebrity” Betty Loxton.

City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder CEO John Walker said he looked forward to attending the event.

“This is always a popular event and traditionally attracts around 280 seniors, and for us as a City it is a marvelous opportunity to say thank you to all our senior residents and acknowledge the contributions they have made, and continue to make, to our community,” he said.

“This is an event that all seniors in Kalgoorlie-Boulder look forward to, and the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is proud to host the Seniors Christmas Lunch again this year.

“It is a wonderful afternoon, with lots of prizes, entertainment and fun for all of the guests.”

Seniors interested in attending the luncheon should visit the Goldfields Arts Centre Box Office.  The box office is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm.  Or contact them on 9021 0999 or online via www.goldfieldsartscentre.com.au.
