Spraying of weeds

Engineering Services aims to minimise the spread of weeds in the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder through an approved eradication program.

We spray undesirable weeds in priority areas, depending on seasonal growth, according to following schedule:

  •  Dual use paths—once every 6 to 12 months
  •  Right of ways—once every 3 to 6 months
  •  Main entrance roads—as needed
  •  Industrial areas—as needed.

During spraying operations, our staff use herbicides which pose minimal risk to the environment and the public, and take all necessary precautions to avoid property damage and exposure to dangerous chemicals.

For more information, or to request for weed spraying, please contact Engineering Services.
