Programs for people with disability

Find out about programs for people with disabilities in the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, including life orientation programs, conducted at the Easter Goldfields Community Centre.

The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder through the Eastern Goldfields Community Centre (EGCC) provides Home and Community Care (HACC) Services and facilitates activities for Seniors.

Get Out Club is a HACC service which provides structured activities encouraging socialisation, promotes independence and self-confidence, supports current skills and assists in regaining lost skills.

Get Out Club is on a Wednesday and Thursday for young adults with a disability from 10.30am to 2.30pm.

Get Out Club

The Get Out Club provides a balanced program of life skills and leisure activities so that people with disability can enjoy themselves while gaining essential life skills.

Initially focused on recreation programs, the club has now also included a "life orientation" focus.

Life orientation programs

The life orientation programs at the Get Out Club provide an opportunity for people with disability to develop a range of skills to allow for greater independence.
