City welcomes new Director Corporate and Commercial

The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is pleased to announce the appointment of Cassandra Jaeger as the new Director of Corporate and Commercial. She will join the City later this year and brings with her a wealth of experience in governance, strategic leadership, and project management across local government.

Cassandra commenced her career in local government in 2018 at the City of Bayswater. During her time in local government, she has held several critical roles, including Executive Support/Research, Coordinator Governance and Risk, Special Projects Advisor, and Manager Governance at the Town of Cambridge. Notably, she has successfully overseen local elections, enhanced governance frameworks, and led the implementation of innovative projects and processes. In 2023, she was recognised with the LG Professionals WA Emerging Leader of the Year Award.

Commenting on her new role, Cassandra said, “I’m excited to be joining the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder and contributing to the services we provide. I’m constantly inspired by the positive impact local governments have on their communities, and I look forward to working as part of the Executive Leadership Team to deliver meaningful outcomes for the City.”
Cassandra holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Arts (Politics and Journalism), and a Certificate in Governance and Risk Management. She is currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Executive Leadership and Management.

CEO Andrew Brien said the City is excited to welcome Cassandra and looks forward to the invaluable contributions she will bring to the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder.
