Christmas Street Party

Sunday 24 November | 3pm - 8pm | Burt Street + Loopline Park

We're taking over Burt Street and Loopline Park once again for the annual Christmas Street Party and lighting of the Christmas tree.

Enjoy the non-stop entertainment on the main stage including performances by local musicians and dance troupes, take part in crafty activities and festive workshops, and browse one-of-a-kind gifts from the wide range of market stalls. Indulge in tasty treats from our food vendors and then help us top off the party with the lighting of the Christmas tree and a firework show!

This is a family-friendly festive event not to be missed.

Seniors Christmas Lunch

Wednesday 4 December | 11am - 2pm | Goldfields Learning Centre

The City’s Seniors Christmas lunch is an opportunity for the City to say thank you and acknowledge the contributions you have made and continue to make to our community. If you’re over 60, come and enjoy a free three-course meal, light refreshments, and nonstop local entertainment, fun, and games.

This event is free to attend, but due to its high popularity, registration is essential.

Twilight Christmas Markets

Saturday 7 December | 4pm - 8pm | Goldfields Arts Centre

Join us at the Twilight Christmas Markets for a magical Winter Wonderland experience! Capture the moment with Santa photos, sip on seasonal drinks at our outdoor bar, discover unique gifts from local stall holders, indulge in delicious treats from food vendors and enjoy a true white Christmas atmosphere.

Santa's Grotto

Santa Claus is coming to town!

It's the most wonderful time of year, and Santa is here to celebrate with you! Join him at the Grotto for a meet and greet, and to get a selfie with the man himself.

It is free to visit Santa’s Grotto with no bookings required. Professional photography will incur a small charge.

Morning Melodies: Local Variety Christmas Show

From November 24 to 24 December, Kalgoorlie-Boulder will be merry and bright with breathtaking Christmas lights installations across the City, creating a magical atmosphere that's perfect for the holiday season.

Christmas Window Decorating Competition

26 November to 25 December | Hannan Street + Burt St

Stroll down Hannan and Burt Street to enjoy the whimsical Christmas window displays created by local businesses participating in our Window Decorating Competition!

Be sure to scan the QR code on your favourite display to cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award.

Businesses on Hannan Street and Burt Street are invited to register by 18 November for your chance to win!
