Organisational Structure

The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder plays a vital role in delivering several core services and crucial infrastructure to our community. Qualified staff members are employed in various capacities to deliver services across the City. Our structure is tabled below:

Chief Executive Officer

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder leads City employees in carrying out the policies and decisions of the City Council. The CEO is responsible for:

  • Administering the day-to-day functions of the City
  • Inter-governmental relations
  • Operational figurehead for the City

The CEO works closely with the Mayor and Elected members on Council priorities. 

Executive Advisory Group

Consists of three departments:
Finance:
  • Statutory financial reporting

  • Rate billing and collection
  • Investment of surplus funds
  • Grants management
  • Cost control-accounts payable, plant recovery and overheads
