Structure & Local Development Plans

Structure Plans ensure that land development is performed in an orderly manner taking the strategic direction set by the City into consideration.

Where there are multiple landowners, the Structure Plan developed under the Local Planning Scheme will guide the overall development. All land affected by an approved Structure Plan must be developed generally in accordance with the plan.

Structure Plans and/or Outline Development Plans should occur in advance of subdivision and broadly outline the distribution and type of land uses proposed and the indicative site layout including streets, retail and commercial facilities, employment areas, open space, schools, community facilities and infrastructure provision.
