Want to get paid while you gain valuable work experience?
If you enjoy working with a team, have a positive attitude, possess great communication skills and are eager to learn, the City's Apprenticeship and Traineeship Programs are for you.
With an opportunity to gain hands-on experience working in local government, our traineeships and apprenticeships allow you to earn while you learn.
Our programs allow you to complete a nationally recognised qualification, and with positions available across our organisation, you're guaranteed to find a field you enjoy.
How does it work?
Accepted trainees and apprentices will undergo our onboarding process to support their entry into the workforce.
They are assigned a mentor who will provide ongoing guidance and assistance throughout their program and further careers within the City.
