Kalgoorlie-Boulder Community Garden
The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder has worked with the community to create a community garden in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, located next door to Hammond Park. The garden is a great place to get involved in community gardening, to learn about gardening techniques and waterwise practises, and to begin growing your own organic produce.

Responsible Cafes
The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder has partnered with Responsible Cafes to reduce the amount of disposable coffee cups going to landfill. Over 3 billion takeaway cups and lids are used every year in Australia, most of which end up in landfill. To reduce this unnessessary waste the Responsible Cafes program encourages Cafes to offer discounts to people that bring their own reusable cup, promoting a culture of reuse. Cafes in Kalgoorlie-Boulder that offer a discount for reusable cups can be found on the Responsible Cafes Map.
