Lane St (Forrest St to Hannan St) and Forrest St (Wilson St. to Lane St.)

The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder has recently completed the Lane and Forrest Street Shared Use Path (SUP) Project. The total project cost came to $285,687, and was co-funded by the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder and the State Government through the WA Bicycle Networks Grants Program.

The completed SUP runs 650 metres from Lane Street to Forrest Street, and was developed to connect these paths with the existing Cycling Network. This initiative allows residents and visitors the ability to walk, wheel or ride in a safe and sustainable way to and from the Kalgoorlie Central Business District. The SUP includes a bike service station and bike rack for rider convenience. The City completed the SUP in December 2023 and invites members of the community to make use of the new path.
