The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder’s Multicultural Festival once again promises an exciting line-up of entertainment as well as delicious food and beverages from all over the globe.

The festival will see Cassidy Street and the Goldfields Arts Centre forecourt come to life to showcase cultural performances, music, dancing, and food which celebrate the diversity of the Kalgoorlie-Boulder community.

Residents will also be able to browse a range of cultural displays and participate in a range of international family-friendly activities.

Mayor Wilson expressed his excitement for this year’s multicultural festival and the opportunity to spotlight all of the wonderful cultures that make up our great city.

“The Multicultural Festival is one of my favourite events, where the delicious food never disappoints, and we have the opportunity to celebrate all of the diverse cultures which make our city a great place to live.”

“We have residents from all over the world, and I’m grateful for the contributions they make across all areas of the community, from volunteering to our workplaces.”

“I encourage everyone to come down and participate in the festivities. Let’s support those who have practiced their performances for weeks or worked to prepare the delicious food on offer. It’s going to be a fantastic cultural experience.”

Proudly sponsored by Lottery West and Northern Star Resources, the free event will take place on Saturday 8 June from 3pm to 8pm at the Goldfields Arts Centre forecourt and Cassidy Street, Kalgoorlie.

Parking will be available at the Goldfields Arts Centre carpark and surrounding streets. Cassidy Street will be closed from the Lord Forrest Precinct roundabout to the Goldfields Arts Centre from 10am to 10pm on the day of the event.
