The local government has received an application to use and/or develop land for the following purpose and public comments are invited.

• Street: Kitchener Road
• Suburb: Mullingar

Proposal:

Workforce Accommodation Facility, which includes the following components:

• 200 four-room cabins to accommodate 800 workers;
• Communal facilities (laundry units, office, storeroom, mess with kitchen and dining area, lockers, gym, communal BBQ areas, etc.);
• Service/maintenance compound;
• 414 car bays and 6 bus bays; and
• Landscaping.

Submissions may be made on or before Sunday, 19 January 2025.

Comments on the proposal may be submitted to the local government in writing. Submissions should be marked ‘Kitchener Road Workforce Accommodation’ and addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, PO Box 2024, Boulder WA 6432 or emailed to mailbag@ckb.wa.gov.au.
