Keenan St and Maritana St
Stage 1 - Maritana St and Piccadilly St
The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder has recently completed Stage 1 of the Keenan Street and Maritana Street Shared Use Path (SUP) Project, on Maritana Street and Piccadilly Street. The total project cost came to $444,310.00 and was co-funded by the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder and the State Government through the WA Bicycle Networks Grants Program.
The completed SUP runs 734 metres and was developed to connect these paths with the existing Cycling Network. It provides access to key destinations including Sir Richard Moore Oval, Kalgoorlie Regional Hospital, Kalgoorlie Train Station and two primary schools (St. Mary’s Primary School and Kalgoorlie Primary School).
This initiative allows residents and visitors the ability to walk, wheel or ride in a safe and sustainable way.
The City completed the SUP in December 2024 and now invites members of the community to make use of the new path.
